Ready when you are
With every detail, DJI RS 3 offers a flexible and efficient filming experience for solo creators and independent teams. Lightweight and sleek, it delivers professional stabilisation and effective control for greater creative freedom and endless possibilities. DJI RS 3 is ready when you are.
Get started immediately
It's all about speed
Quick mounts
Dual quick-release mounts make installing a camera on the RS 3 quick and convenient, with no need to rebalance the rig after changing the battery or memory card.
A new wheel has been added to the tilt axis to move the camera forward or backward with millimetre precision, for more precise balancing with ease when changing lenses.
Automatic axis locks
Get up and running in an instant with RS 3. With the cradle off, press and hold the on/off button. All three axes will be unlocked and the platform will automatically deploy within seconds. Press the power button once, and the axes will automatically lock and go into standby mode, making travel and shifting significantly more efficient. Press and hold the power button and the basket folds and locks automatically.
Wireless shutter control
With dual Bluetooth mode, RS 3 supports wireless shutter control[1], saving time and energy each time you use it. After initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and still image capture by simply pressing the stabiliser record button.
Previously paired cameras automatically reconnect after the first use, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.
Continuous smoothness
Professional stabilisation
Excellent weight to weight ratio
Weighing just 1.3 kg (including camera pod, battery grip and quick-release mounts), the RS 3 can be held in one hand. On the other hand, its 3kg carrying capacity is more than enough for consumer cameras such as the Sony A7S3 or Canon R5 with a 24-70mm F2.8 lens.
3rd generation RS stabilisation algorithm
Thanks to a new generation RS stabilisation algorithm, RS 3 offers significantly improved stability in all scenarios. Lab tests show that RS 3 offers up to 20% more stability than DJI RSC 2, which makes it easy to handle low-angle shots, racing scenarios or switching between high and low positions.
Comparison of stabilisation test data
Unequalled smoothness
When you need even smoother results, activate SuperSmooth mode. RS 3 Pro increases motor torque to further improve stabilisation, resulting in stable footage even in fast-moving scenarios or when using lenses with a focal length equivalent to 100mm.
Everything at your fingertips
Instant control
Quickly configure settings
1.8" OLED touch screen.
Compared to the RSC 2's black and white screen, RS 3 features a 1.8" colour OLED touch screen with an 80% larger display. It also supports most Ronin app settings, providing intuitive and precise control and a reworked user interface.
Instant mode change
By simply sliding the new pod mode switch, you can switch between Pan Tracking, Pan & Tilt and FPV modes. The FPV mode selection is also customisable between 3D Roll 360, Portrait or Custom, allowing you to adjust your rig and get to work quickly.
Customisable front wheel
The front dial allows you to control zoom or focus. It can also be customised to control shutter, aperture, camera ISO[2] or pan movements, which is extremely convenient for one-handed operations.
Powerful and convenient production
Efficient video transmission
Smartphone tracking
RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter)[3] to transmit a 1080p/30 fps HD live stream directly to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 meters[4] and the end-to-end transmission latency is as low as 60 ms. [4] It is also possible to attach a smartphone to the NATO RS 3 port with smartphone support for wireless location.
Integrated tracking and control
Adjust the camera exposure remotely in the Ronin app[2] or control the pod with the virtual joystick for an integrated tracking and control experience.
Mobile power
With the Ronin Image Transmitter, a smartphone can be used as a motion controller to control the RS 3 pod remotely, providing more flexible and dynamic camera movement.
Focus on creation
A battery designed for professionals
Quick release design
The new RS 3 battery cable has a cartridge design that makes changing batteries easier and less storage capacity than the RSC 2. It can also be recharged independently from the basket.
12 hours operation and fast charging
The new battery cable offers a maximum operating time of 12 hours,[5] sufficient for continuous all-day use. It supports 18W PD fast charging with a recharge time of only 2.5 hours. It can also be used during charging. This means the RS 3 stays powered almost indefinitely.

Accessories[6]
New case handle
The case handle has been redesigned and is now foldable for more convenient storage. It has an ergonomic handle that makes it quick and easy to set up or switch to case mode. The integrated hot shoe and 1/4"-20 mounting hole can be connected to external monitors for assisted shooting, making low-angle camera movements more intuitive.
New Focus Engine
The next generation DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) offers three times the torque (up to 1 N-m) and noise is reduced by 50%. This allows smoother focusing and reduces the effect on audio recording. The Focus Motor also adopts a quick release frame, allowing easy mounting without the need for additional tools for faster operation.
Vertical Camera Mount
Install the Vertical Camera Bracket to fix the camera vertically on the RS 3. This eliminates the need for a camera portrait while allowing you to shoot portraits from different angles with ease for high quality content.
